Bronze Vessel for Measuring Liquids

The vessel made of bronze was used to measure liquids. It has a round base and a handle in the figure of a bird with a duck bill. It is decorated with geometric ornaments made by casting. The vessel's body is round and squat in the figure of a traditional olla jar, a funnel-mouthed vessel. The vessel has traces of ridges. These were probably marks for measurement. | ||
